I watched Creed A movie that takes place in the world of Rocky Balboa. The movie focuses on Adonis Johnson, The Son of Apollo Creed. High points of the movie The movie had decent visual work done, it also had blurbs which I was fine with, but others might find distracting. The movie did a fairly good job at showing how Rocky has progressed through time. Low points of the movie I was really disappointed in the Language, really could have left that stuff out, even snuck in a F word. Had a lot of violence but it is an action movie afterall, had some alot of blood that would gross out squeamish people. They also had quite of bit of sensuality, if you were bringing kids just keep that in mind. After all has been said and done, I enjoyed the movie, wish it could have had more 80s music, but I think it's a pretty decent addition to the series. I'd give it a 3 out of 5 1. Let your phone control you, never be in control of your phone! 2.Speak loudly! 3. Be sure not to be courteous to those you are with; always have your phone on it doesn't matter if it will be interrupting a conversation, or activity. Notifications are way more important then the people who are taking the time to be with you in person. 4. Use whatever kind of language, and make sure people can overhear you, your the most important being in the universe after all. 5. Always try to strike up the most personal conversations in public. 6. Be sure to always have the most obnoxiously loud setting on, and don't bother moving away to talk, just tell everyone else around you to stop what they are doing and shut up. 7. It's okay to make calls in a library, theater, church, or from your table in a restaurant, just be sure to adhere to rule 2. so people around you don't have to eavesdrop. 8. If you need to text during class or a meeting at your job, go ahead and do so it's not like they have rules against this and even if they did school, and work aren't that important anyway. 9. If you need to share private info go ahead, and text it to whoever, it's not like they can forward it or anything. 10. Always drive and use your phone at the same time, multitasking is the best way of getting things done even if it may or may not be illegal. If you are then you need help and an etiquette book. I watched The Fantastic Four which is a Marvel Super Hero movie. They did a so-so meh job I'd give it 3.0 stars...if Stan Lee would have made a cameo. The movie did have some good effects, and some pretty neat scenery. I also liked the chemistry of The characters. The language was minimal, but still present, Had a lot of violence but it is an action movie after all. MARVELNESS You might have missed and other spoilers.... Marvel Comics usually have a bonus teaser clip BUT NOT THIS ONE lol Stan Lee usually makes a cameo but he wasn't there or I didn't see him. My two faithfulness to the comic related issues 1. They didn't use the Original story but they used more of the Ultimate storyline. 2. Doctor Doom veered off a lot from his original comic book counter part, but they all veered somewhat from their original counterparts. 3. Susan Storm and Johnny Storm not being blood related. I watched The Antman which is a Marvel Super Hero movie. They did a great job I'd give it 4.7 stars. The movie had very awesome effects, and some pretty neat scenery. I really liked the portrayals of The characters The language was definitely minimal, but still present, Had a lot of violence but it is an action movie after all. MARVELNESS You might have missed and other spoilers. Marvel Comics usually have a bonus teaser clip which usually hints at a future movie after the credits, so if you walked out shame on you lol Because you missed a bonus scene of The new Wasp They also had another awesome scene that I actually missed because I wasn't expecting another scene. My three faithfulness to the comic related issues 1. The Original Antman was Hank Pym but they had a flash back that explained that and fixed the issue of the movie not being about the first Antman 2. In one of the Trailers a character mentions how Antman gains super strength this was an issue that was also rectified in the movie. 3. Darren Cross's Character veered off a lot from his comic book counter part, but I do like the actor's portrayal of him. This past weekend the subject of a woman's place was raised while me and my family were helping one of my friends move out of their apartment, being the most domesticated out of my siblings (I'm the only male) so we had a pretty decent discussion on that topic. One of my relatives is a self proclaimed feminist, and I never really did get the whole feminist mind set, seems kinda sexist to me and they have done things that have defied logic I.E The Bra was invented by a woman in the 1920s to make getting dressed easier for women, 50 or so years later women burned them to show how they felt oppression by men?? I needless to say am not a feminist and I don't quite believe in equal rights, I'm on the autistic spectrum so by personal experience not everybody is the same so I'm very much a believer in the special independent needs of an individual. In the Bible (you non Bible readers stay with me for a sec) the ground work has already been done when God created Man he made him to take on the role as Husband: A caretaker of the home and family therein, and God also created Woman and made her to be the Wife a help meet to the husband. Two questions then can be asked Where is a Man's Place? Where is a Woman's Place? They were both created to be a part in this universe so they both have a place and a duty in this world. Going by the Bible a Man's place is to take care of the home and to help his family in this life and a woman is to help out the man. My answer to the questions are the same WHERE THEY ARE BEST SUITED we all have our strengths and weaknesses so we need to cover each other's weak points and cut out all this Man vs Woman stuff. |
