Me and my youngest sister frequent this cafe quite often, so I decided that I would do a review, and hope to add more of their foods to this post in the future. For my meal, I chose the Reuben Panini which came with a pickle spear, the meat was very good. and sauerkraut made it very juicy, my sister decided to try out the Spaghetti and Meatballs which came with a surprising amount of Bruschetta.
Food 4/5 The food has always been really good, and I haven't had any complaints with anything I've ordered. Even though the name of the place is called Demitasse (small cup) cafe we have always had plenty of food. Price 3/5 Price of their paninis are pretty typical of what I've paid in other cafes, their pasta is a little pricey, but they aren't stingy with the food they give you. Time 3/5 This isn't fast food, delivery of food is typical of other cafes I've gone too. Decor 4/5 Place is very nice, and they provide an outdoor area to eat at and that is always a pretty good option to have. Service 3/5 Service has always been pretty decent, and they do provide Wifi if I'm not mistaken. In closing if you have ever wanted to try something from there, and never got around to it let me know in the comments, and I may just post up a review of that entree. This week's Flix Friday Movie Review is Heaven's Door, A Movie about a small town girl who gains a Healing ability with consequences. The main protagonist, is Riley Taylor a girl who gains a healing ability a few days after suffering a huge loss. The main antagonist is her mother who is pretty much a jerk for the majority of the movie. It was an interesting watch, pace however could have been better. As a Christian doctrinal stuff was a bit iffy and they did have a distorted curse word but other then that movie was pretty clean. I'd give the movie a 4.7 of 5 This week for Tasty Thursdays a Can of Lychee Fruit The lychee (Litchi chinensis) (Chinese: 荔枝; pinyin: lì zhī) is the sole member of the genus Litchi in thesoapberry family, Sapindaceae. It is a tropical and subtropical fruit tree native to the Guangdong and Fujianprovinces of China, and now cultivated in many parts of the world.[2] The fresh fruit has a "delicate, whitish pulp" with a floral smell and a fragrant, sweet flavor. Since this perfume-like flavor is lost in the process of canning, the fruit is usually eaten fresh.[3] Info courtesy of wikipedia The Lost Medallion This week for Flix Friday I watched The Lost Medallion, Its a Story about the son of an Archaeologist who founds an artifact with special powers. The story is told by a man visiting a friend who runs a foster home, when their usual story teller is unavailable High points of the movie The movie was a nice watch. It had a very veiled Christian message. Movie also had many object lessons For a wide variety of people. Low points of the movie People did die in the movie other than that there wasn't any real objectionable content. In Closing I liked the movie and I'd give it 4.8 stars. For family friendliness Last week for Tasty Thursday, I decided to do a review of Mixed Mochi, this week I decided to do just one flavor of Mochi Mochi is Japanese rice cake made of mochigome, a short-grain japonica glutinous rice. The rice is pounded into paste and molded into the desired shape.
I watched The Croods, it's set in a caveman era where a small family have to relocate once their home is destroyed.
High points of the movie The movie was very family oriented, and togetherness was a big part of the movie. Low points of the movie The Father of the family had a pretty rough time of the movie In Closing with all things considered It was an interesting watch and I'd give it 5 out of 5 stars for family friendliness.
